Our service accepts patients who may or may not have been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and typically have long histories of admission, medication, discharge and re-admission. Increasingly, patients are being referred to us who are being considered for discharge from hospital by their Responsible Clinician under a Community Treatment Order (CTO). This ensures that our clinical team can work with NHS staff to create a bespoke care, support and treatment package for the individual which will be in place and effectively managed from the day of discharge.

Gray Healthcare offers a genuine opportunity to avoid the “Revolving Door” syndrome and avoid some of the pitfalls inherent in existing “step down” services.

Our Direction™ approach and therapeutic programmes provide Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation within each patients own home with patient-centred care plans designed around the individual’s needs.

Due to our unique “dual registration” with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) we are able to deliver
an “in - patient” care service in the community.
